W&S lawful basis of data processing
GDPR states:
Data can only be processed if there is at least one lawful basis to do so. The lawful bases for processing data are:

- processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Recital 47 states “The processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes may be regarded as carried out for a legitimate interest “
W&S will only process data as follows:
- Contact details from web site and other sources with explicit consent of the subject.
- Contact details for sales leads that are a legitimate interest for W&S in their pursuit of business.
- Contact details for pursuing enquires.
- Contact details for carrying out contracts.
- Contact details for contract aftercare.
W&S Data Processing:
W&S store personal details of persons generally representing Business Entities in:
- Contact Corporate and Personal Applications and Apps, (e.g. Email Contact Services, MS Exchange, Android and Apple Phone Apps etc.)
- File Server records (Reports and Record Documents and Correspondence.)
- Inteli-Scan User Database.
- Constant Contact Records.
- Linked-in Social Media Connections.

This privacy policy sets out how Watson & Sole uses and protects any information when we interact with each other.
Watson & Sole is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this policy and current data protection legislation.
Watson & Sole may update this policy from time to time by updating this policy. You should check this policy from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1st January 2018.
What we collect

- Corporate Information, (Company Name, Business Sector etc.)

In particular for the following reasons:

- From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for customer survey purposes. We may use the information to improve our products and services.

Controlling your Personal Information

- if we have previously recorded data you can ask for it to be removed from our systems by email at info@watsonsole.co.uk.

We may however share your contact details to other parties related to you and us via a lead, enquiry, contract, or past contract. We may use your personal information to send you contract related correspondence and promotional information about us or third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998 and its successor the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
