Home user guides

Developers can achieve three credits as part of their Ecohome development, when they provide a Home User Guide (HUG) in line with the BREEAM Checklist Man 1 Part 1 & 2.

We create bespoke Home User Guides (HUG) that include:

• Welcome
• Moving In Information
• Block Facilities
• Emergency and Useful Local Contacts
• Safety and Security
• Environmental Design and Features
• Quick Start and Emergencies, How to operate services and utilities
• Maintenance and care
• Services and Utilities
• Appendices including details of fixtures and fittings, including white goods

The user guide enables home-owners and occupiers to understand and operate their home efficiently, and to make best use of their local facilities.

Watson & Sole home user guides can be provided as an IOS and Android app, online, and as a printed manual.

How it works

When you invite us to author an O&M manual, the home user guides are created by setting up the Inteli-Scan app for each residence.
