Health and Safety Files
Under the CDM Regulations 2015, it is a legal requirement to have a health and safety file, also known as the principal reference document.
We work with the principal designer and principal contractor to prepare electronic and paper copies of the health and safety file.
The aim of the file is to alert building owners and occupiers about key health and safety issues.
What’s included:
- Health and safety information for the building
- Index to the suite of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals
- Specific design drawings identifying potential health and safety hazards and risks
- Fire strategy
- Register of residual risk and hazardous materials
- Architect’s plans
- Design criteria
- Demolition advice
- Key contacts
