SIMPLE SEARCH
The Simple Search is an immensely powerful feature that gives users direct access to the power of INTELI-SCAN. A simple search for a keyword (pump, dampers etc) will present the user with results:

• By system, whereby any system with the key word in its title, or asset list will be presented giving the user access to all the documents relating to that system.
• By Document Ranking, in this case the documents with the key word in the title or the free text
  of the document in order of applicability to the search.
• By Popularity, the documents that have been read most by the user and colleagues will be listed where they comply with the search criteria.

The Simple Search Feature also provides the familiar "History", "Suggestions" and "Did you mean?" capabilities.

SEARCH BY BUILDING ATTRIBUTES
The User has the ability to search through the documents available for a system or element by searching against, Asset Name, Asset Code, System, Area/Zone or Discipline. From the results of the initial search, the User then selects the asset or system they want to research and INTELI-SCAN displays all the documents relating to the System the asset is within.

SEARCH BY DOCUMENT
The User has the ability to Search for a document in a particular category: (Site Info, System, Drawing, Testing, BMS or Literature), Title, Originator and Free text, the results are displayed in a new window.
